Browse public events, open an invitation link, scan the organiser's QR code or enter the invitation code. Sign in or create your account. Opening an invitation does not join anything automatically.
For an organisation invitation, choose to join as a member. For an activity or event invitation, choose the available event-only or organisation-joining option.
2. Choose your involvement
Review the event time, venue, admission requirements and roles. Guest-enabled activities let you take part without joining the organisation.
Choose a direct-selection role to confirm it, request an approval role, or accept or decline an organiser's offer. The organiser's role allowance applies separately to each person.
3. Keep track and show up
Your dashboard brings together your upcoming commitments, requests and offers across organisations. Use the calendar or its download to plan ahead.
Add a participant note, download the agenda and review the joining details. If your plans change, withdraw from your role or cancel the appropriate registration before it closes.
Bringing someone with you?
If guests are enabled, your guest can use their own account, or you can add a named guest and reserve eligible roles for them. Each named guest has a separate role allowance; their roles do not count as your personal completed contributions.
Named guests can receive simple no-ticket or RSVP admission where allowed. Personal tickets and required document acknowledgements need the guest's own account. Check admission separately from role allocation.
FOR ORGANISERS
Make it easy for people to say yes.
1. Create your organisation
Choose a name, organisation type and allocation policy. Add an optional role template, or create your own roles. A sports group can start with player slots; a speaking club can use the fourteen-slot speaking template.
Owners and managers can organise activities. Event roles never grant organisation management permission.
2. Create and publish an event
For a simple meeting, create an activity with a title, date, time and location. For a conference or multi-session programme, create an event and add its sessions.
Use More options for extra settings. Choose whether guests can take part, set a role allowance and configure recurrence where useful. Review your draft before publishing.
3. Invite and coordinate
Create an organisation, activity or event invitation. Share its link, QR or manual code yourself. You can revoke a link when it should no longer be used.
Review vacancies, approval requests and pending offers. Print the agenda or download Excel, and record completion after the activity. A past date alone does not prove participation.
Payment instructions, WhatsApp and cancellation
You can show manual payment instructions, bank details, an external payment link and a WhatsApp group invitation QR. These are organiser-supplied information; GatherBridge does not verify a transfer or automatically admit someone because they paid externally.
For cancellations, use the event or activity's organiser controls. Future active allocations and admissions are handled according to their context, while past history is retained. Automatic outbound cancellation messages and integrated refunds are not operating features.
Membership, admission and roles are separate
Joining an organisation makes you a member. Registering for an event gives you that event's participation or admission. Taking a role gives you a specific job or place in the activity. An event ticket and its personal QR are separate from a shared invitation.
Guest access lets someone take part without organisation membership, subject to the organiser's settings. Actual participation currently requires sign-in, or an existing participant can manage a named guest reservation.
